City Pressure Boosting Systems
By Zoeller

Do you have low household water pressure? Does your water pressure drop when you are using water in more than one location in your house? Sometimes this can be caused by undersized piping within your house, or sometimes outside influences can secretively affect your house pressure. As more residences are added to a main municipal, or private, water line the water pressure in your house can drop substantially. One of these City Pressure Boosting Pump systems may be your solution. They will provide consistent pressure to your house and will not interfere with your normal city water flow until it's needed. Zoeller is a leader in the plumbing product industry, and these city pressure boosting systems are one of the reasons why. We also offer many other Zoeller pumping products. We, at PlumbingSupply.com®, are pleased to offer Zoeller's fine products.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. "Will these systems interfere with my normal city water flow?"
A. These Zoeller boost systems are installed in tandem with your municipal water lines. They will not interfere with your normal city water flow unless needed, virtually eliminating the up and down water pressure fluctuations experienced in many other tank systems plumbed in line.

Q. "Can these water pressure boosters be installed outside?"
A. No, these units are designed for indoor installation only.

Q. "How can I determine the water pressure for my house?"
A. The simplest way is to use a Lazy Hand Water Test Gauge. Thread the gauge on to the end of a normal hose bibb and then turn the hose bibb on. Adjust the "lazy hand" by moving it to the pressure currently shown on the gauge. Leave the Lazy Hand Test Gauge on the hose bibb overnight or as long as you would like to. Pressure on the system can increase during the night because less water is normally used during normal sleeping hours. If the pressure increases the lazy hand indicator will be moved by the needle reading the pressure and stay where the peak pressure reading occured. It will not move to a lower pressure as pressure is decreased unless you manually reset it. When you check the Lazy Hand gauge you can determine the highest pressure your system reached.
