Q. "So what makes a sink ADA compliant?"
A. The ADA Standards for Accessible Design state that sinks can be no deeper than 6-1/2", which these sinks comply with. Please keep in mind, the finished installation (which includes the cabinet or counter, the faucet, and the drainage pipes) take into account a few other considerations, including knee clearance and clear floor space, as well as undersink protection.

Type 410: Also does not contain any significant nickel; its primary difference to type 409 stainless is characterized by the use of heat treatment for hardening and strengthening. Type 430: Another plain-chromium stainless steel, similar to type 409, but is usually used in decorative applications.
