Q. "What size batteries are needed to run the sensor technology on the battery operated urinals?"
A. This state-of-the-art sensor technology requires only 4 'AA' batteries.

Q. "How do these high efficiency urinals compare to the "standard" urinal?"
A. These Zurn "Pint" urinals perform excellently! In fact, they were part of a university field study where participants noticed no fuctional difference between their old conventional urinals and these high efficiency urinals. Upon uninstalling the "Pint" urinals to inspect the drain line, there was no build-up, crystallization, or constriction of any kind in either the trap or the drain behind the urinal system.

Q. "Okay, I want to be more water efficient. Can I install one of these valves on my existing urinal?"
A. These flush valves have been designed to fit these urinals. Installing these water-saving flush valves on existing urinals that are not designed to be highly efficient may not provide a complete wash down and trapway water exchange. However, these very low water conserving urinal systems are designed with retrofit applications in mind and will typically install easily in place of a less efficient unit.
