Valley single control bath and shower
Please note that on above handles 17, 18, 19 and 20 - these install with set screws either on the side, top or bottom.
They do not attach with a screw under an index button.

*Also note, #21 has screw holes on bottom.
Please check to see if your valve has the available holes to mount the escutcheon.
Otherwise you will have to mount the escutcheon upside down.
Thus, the temperature indicators will be wrong.

These "new" style escutcheons have the two holes below
the center large hole (rather than above)

Please note: Before Valley went out of business,
they changed the buttons on the V5001 and V5002 to a pewter finish
so they would match both CP and PB valves.

Valley tub/shower valves do provide screw holes for their replacements:
V4462CP (V4286) now use number V4273 = $39.49
V44624PB (V42868) now use number V42734 = $69.46

Valley faucets Valley is no longer made and Valley has not made or offered those for a number of years. Some don't like the newer style as well, but none of us have a choice or option. The new style does fit, and we do still stock some of their newer styles.

answers about the difference between the Valley VP1965 Non Div cartridge and the VP1965 Div cartridge The VP1964 Non-Diverter cartridge is used for all Valley "new style" single control kitchen and lavatory faucets that do NOT have a hand spray attachment. The VP1965 Diverter cartridge has a diverter in it to divert water from the spout to the hand spray when the hand spray lever is pushed. The VP1965 Diverter cartridge is used on single control kitchen and lavatory faucets with a hand spray attachment except for the Valley Hi-Style series. The Valley Hi-Style kitchen faucets use the VP1964 Non-Diverter cartridge because the diverter is located in the base of the spout and not in the cartridge. Click here to compare each cartridge.

Note: The VP1964 Non-Diverter cartridge is also used for Valley "new style" bath/shower valves. This does not include the back-to-back or pressure balance bath/shower valves because a different style cartridge is used.
