Q. "What is a "slant back" faucet?"
A. "Slant back" faucets are designed mainly for older sinks which have 45° angle faucet holes.

Q. "What is a "ledge back" faucet?"
A. "Ledge back" (also known as "shelf back") faucets mount onto some older sinks that have their faucet holes on a vertical surface (such as the back "wall" of the sink), as opposed to most sinks with their faucet holes on a horizontal surface, such as a deck or countertop.

Q. "Are there any special adapters I need to hook up a 1/2" SJ (slip joint) connection?"
A. Any flexible supply line with 1/2" SJ on one end will work. You will need to make sure the other end of the supply line will connect to your angle stop.
