Simple, straightforward and low shipping rates for these portable utility pumps.
Q. "How do I prime the 310 or 311 pump?"
A. An easy way to prime the pump (wet impeller), if using a garden hose, is to fill the discharge hose; elevate the discharge hose slightly to retain water and start the pump. Another method would be to disconnect the discharge hose from the pump, making a U-bend of the discharge hose, fill the hose and then reconnect to the pump (without losing the water). In both cases, the water behind the impeller will seal the pump and it will prime almost immediately. The model 310 pump always needs to be primed. However, as long the 311 pump is not more than 7 feet above liquid source, it doesn't need to be primed.
Q. "It says that these pumps can drain water heaters. Do you offer any other pumps that will drain water heaters?"
A. Yes, click here for a light weight portable water heater drain pump.
Q. "Can these pumps be used under water?"
