Energy Saving PerformancePro Cascade Pond Pumps:
| These are high efficiency, industrial grade pumps, ideal for your pond, water feature, or general transfer and re-circulation needs. Cascade pumps produce excellent flow rates at sufficient pressure to really get the job done. The industrial grade Noryl housings are built for long term use. A strainer pot may be attached to facilitate priming and to strain the inflow. |
These Cascade pond pumps features:
- Money saving high efficiency
- Long life, corrosion resistant, 316 stainless steel shaft seals
- Impeller interchangeability allows you to easily change your pump's performance
- Top-of-the-line U.S. motors
- All 1725 rpm units are "TEFC" (totally enclosed, fan cooled) for excellent protection and long term reliability.
- TEFC MOTORS: This motor is probably the most commonly used motor in ordinary industrial environments. It costs only a few dollars more than the open motor, yet offers good protection against common hazards. The motor is constructed with a small fan on the rear shaft of the motor, usually covered by a housing. This fan draws air over the motor fins, removing excess heat and cooling the motor. The enclosure is "Totally Enclosed". This ordinarily means that the motor is dust tight, and has a moderate water seal as well.
- ODP MOTORS: An ODP enclosure on a motor means "Open, Drip Proof". ODP motors are relatively inexpensive motors used in normal applications. The construction of an ODP motor consists of a sheet metal enclosure with vent stamped to allow good air flow. The vents are designed in such a way that water dripping on the motor will not normally flow into the motor. A fan is mounted on the motor's rear shaft to pull air through the motor to keep the motor cool.
- Both pump ends and motors are designed for quiet operation
- Safety firstout of pond pumps help protect both you and your fish from annoying and potentially dangerous oil or electrical leaks
- Pumps come ready for hardwire installation (cord w/plug available separately)
- 3 years manufacturer's limited warranty

Pot Strainer

Pot strainer shown with pump (not included).
| To help you protect your PerformancePro Cascade pump investment, we'd like to encourage that you use a pot style strainer. This has 1 1/2" Mips outlet (it fits right into the Cascade model pump inlet) and 1 1/2" Fips inlet (just like the pump). |
**We recommend using Super Lube on these O-rings
