Q. "What exactly do these kits include?"
A. These kits include a handshower, hose, & drop-in handshower holder and supply elbow. Some kits also include a slide bar.

Q. "Can these kits be attached to my existing shower arm?"
A. Yes they can, if your shower arm is 1/2" male pipe thread, you just don't use the supply elbow that is included and screw the hose directly onto your shower arm. Or you can remove your existing shower arm and install a short 1/2 chrome or brass nipple that is just long enough to show the threads for the drop elbow.

Q. "Do these hand shower kits include the volume and temperature controls?"
A. These hand held shower kits come as shown. If you are including one of these handshower kits in a new installation and not simply replacing an existing showerhead, you will need a valve as well. We offer a variety of thermostatic and pressure balance valves by Jaclo and Danze, among others. If you don't see what you need, just let us know and we'll check on it for you.

Q. "I sometimes need support when getting in and out of the shower. Will these slide bars work as grab bars too?"
A. In a word, no. These slide bars are designed only to support the handshowers, rather like shower arms are designed to hold showerheads. These slide bars are not ADA compliant and should never be used as a grab bar for support. However, we do offer grab bar handshower kits that are designed for support.
