"I'm not exactly clear on the differences between the two above faucets?" The top unit Grohe #36-212-000 only has one inlet. You can either use all cold, all hot (NOT recommended) or mixed temperature (in which case we recommend using a temperature mixer). The bottom model is like most faucets in that it comes with two inlets. "What is the quality like on these faucets?" We think these Grohe faucets are excellent. We have sold some to the famous Sierra Nevada Brewery (they installed them in their brand new, ultra modern brewpub).
