frequently asked questions about shutoffs

questions about left right threads"How do I determine if I need left or right hand threads?"
answers about left right threads The right and left hand thread versions of the standing pilot gas water heater models are offered due to some water heaters using a left hand threaded thermocouple. To determine which one you need, check the owner's manual for your water heater or unscrew your thermocouple. If it unscrews counter clockwise it is a right hand threaded thermocouple, if it unscrews clockwise it is a left hand threaded thermocouple.
