Q. "Why should I purchase a shower filter?"
A. Studies have shown that more chlorine is absorbed through the skin during the average shower than by drinking two quarts of water. The steam we inhale while showering can contain many times the level of chlorine and other chemicals than tap water due to the fact that these chemical vaporize a a lower temperature and at a much faster rate than water.

Many say that inhalation of chlorine and other chemical vapors from shower water are a strong irritant to the tissues in our lungs and a suspected cause of asthma and bronchitis and that when chemicals are inhaled into our lungs they enter directly into our bloodstream and can have magnified effects versus ingested chemicals which are partially filtered by digestion.

We do know that chlorine strips the natural protective oils from hair and skin which can lead to excessive drying of the skin.

Q. "Do these shower heads eliminate chlorine?"
A. These great shower heads will reduce chlorine in shower water, but not necessarily completely eliminate it. How effective these filtered shower heads are depends entirely on the condition of the water.
