"It says the spray outlet is vandal resistant (for the HyTronic faucets) - how is it protected from theft?"
The spray outlet comes with an installation key that has to be used for the spray to be removed.
"What is the yellow plastic insert used for (it comes with the laminar flow for the HyTronic faucets)?"
The insert means that the flow rate is 2.2GPM. This is useful if you have more than one aerator/laminar flow (with different flow rates) and you needed to distinguish between the two.
"The HyTronic faucets say they come with 'multiple field adjustable modes and ranges' - what are those modes and ranges?"
The HyTronic faucets have a cleaning mode (turns off the faucet temporarily), normal mode (activated if a hand is detected), metering mode (shuts off 10 seconds after detecting a hand - even if a hand is still present), 2 scrub modes (faucet stays on 60 or 180 seconds after the last hand presence), sensor range adjustment mode (lets you set the detection distance of the infrared sensor - default range is 1"), and the reset mode which returns the settings to the default factory settings.
"How does the internal temperature control mixer work for the HyTronic faucets?"
The internal temperature control allows you to adjust the temperature of the faucet only after removing the faucet housing. After the housing is off you use a screwdriver to adjust the temperature (clockwise is warm, counter clockwise is cold). This is great if you don't want just anyone changing the temperature on the faucet.
"What is the Geberit Commander software for and what do I need to run it"
The Geberit Commander software allows you to adjust the settings on your faucet remotely. You can also manually change the settings, but the software makes it easier to adjust settings especially for the internal control mixer (with the software you don't have to remove anything to change the settings). The software runs on Palm Pilots: Palm Zire 21, 71 and Palm Tungsten T, T2, E.
