Q. "What does PVD stand for?"
A.Physical Vapor Deposition (used mostly with polished brass or gold finishes). This is a modern plating process used in faucet manufacturing. Vaporized zirconium reacts with nitrogen and other gases to form a VERY durable plated surface. Unlike former days when polished brass would easily tarnish over time, polished brass finishes with PVD are extremely durable and won't generally tarnish or discolor.

Q. "Will the Blanco stainless steel sink cleaner (or composite sink cleaner) make my old, stained, water-spotted sink look like new again?"
A.We aren't aware of ANY cleaner that will make an old sink look new again. With regular use of these cleaners you may see marked improvement, but, again, they cannot remove every old stain, water spot or discoloration. Stainless steel and composite sinks require regular care to keep that "new" appearance. These cleaners help to maintain the beautiful finish and luster of your Blanco sink. Be sure to follow all sink-care directions carefully!

Q. "What is meant by the "reveal"?"
A.Undermount sinks can be installed with the outer edge of the sink flush to the countertop or with a uniform "reveal" (or ledge) all the way around the outer edge of the sink.
